Introduction to applying

Helping you do good

Our grants programme is here to help support local charities, voluntary and community groups who are tackling disadvantage and need across Suffolk. We do aim to make the grant application process simple and accessible for all local voluntary and community groups, regardless of size and professional fund-raising expertise.

Our main endowment fund is called the Suffolk Giving Fund, which awards grants four times a year. In addition, we manage a number of other charitable funds on behalf of our donors. To check your group’s eligibility for a grant, please read our grantmaking guidelines and the criteria for the fund you wish to apply to before starting your application form.

First time application?

We welcome the opportunity to discuss your project or proposal before you submit an application to us, especially if it is the first time you are applying for a grant. Please contact us on 01473 602602 to speak to one of our Grants Officers.

Details of other funding opportunities are available through a new funding portal for Suffolk hosted by Community Action Suffolk which can be accessed here.
