We are passionate about helping to make Suffolk a better place for everyone.
The Foundation is an independent charity, which was established in 2005 and has since become a prominent grant maker to the voluntary sector in the county. We work together with communities and community organisations to identify and highlight areas of need and then raise essential funds to improve the lives of those affected.
We are the largest grant maker to the voluntary sector in Suffolk, working closely with partners to increase understanding of need and raise essential funds to support local charities and community groups.
In partnership with Suffolk, we seek to rebuild local lives in a compassionate, respectful and sustainable way. We do not compete with other local charities, but instead act as a philanthropic hub to channel funds directly to them.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Partnerships Development Manager to play a key role in the charity and contribute towards its mission to help those most in need in the county.

You will need:
- To be personable, diplomatic, assertive, with good relationship management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – oral and written.
- Self-motivation – with a readiness to seize new opportunities, eager to source new ideas and perspectives to initiate actions which improve results and add value.

Salary Circa £40,000 per annum
Full-time 35 hours per week
Permanent position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with the Head of Programmes, the Partnerships Development Manager will contribute to strategic development and service delivery. The role requires the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
As Partnerships Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing and developing meaningful relationships with Public Sector organisations to secure income and grantmaking programmes, raising the profile of the Foundation as the trusted partner of choice.
We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, with integrity, and is able to connect in a compassionate way and communicate well in all settings.
You will also be tasked with maintaining, managing and further developing existing relationships and programmes with voluntary and public sector organisations communicating the vision of the Foundation.
You will have some amazing experiences working with many hidden communities and inspirational groups. We have a strong track record of amplifying our impact even further through our collaboration with public sector bodies. Your role is key to continuing to strengthen this work further.
