Brief Description
Grants towards equipment that will improve physical and mental health in Suffolk.
Criteria
The Fonnereau Road Health Foundation Fund supports organisations which are improving the physical and/or mental health and wellbeing of people in Suffolk.
It does this by providing grants for:
- Equipment or capital costs directly related to improving physical and/ or mental health and wellbeing (but excluding building works and items such as outdoor gym or playground equipment)
- Expenditure which is not part of the organisation’s normal overheads or running costs such as staff salaries.
If you would like to check if your project meets the fund’s criteria it is advisable to speak with a Grants Officer before applying on 01473 602602.
The fund will support charities, community and voluntary groups as well as social enterprises. All applying organisations must be based in and supporting those from Suffolk.
Grants of between £2,000 and £5,000 are available, with the fund preferring to meet the full identifiable cost of any equipment or revenue project.
Applicants are advised that you cannot reapply to this fund in consecutive years and again contact should be made prior to submitting a subsequent application.
Exclusions
The exclusions are the same as those for the Foundation generally. Please read our grantmaking guidelines here to check your eligibility prior to applying to this fund.
