Our work is set against the current backdrop of rising levels of need in Suffolk, with an estimated 75,000 now living in poverty.

A look back to a special day for us, our Annual Review and High Sheriff`s Awards. Thank you to all who came along 3 weeks ago today!
Fran and some of our Suffolk 100 fund members visited the The Pear Tree Centre near Halesworth last week. This was the first of four for the spring round of visits. This photo shows the pear tree which was planted when the building was opened in 2020.
The Pear Tree Centre is a small grassroots community organisation providing holistic support to those impacted by life-limiting illness living within a 15-mile radius of Halesworth, including the diagnosed, their families, carers, and the recently bereaved.

2025 is the 20th anniversary of Suffolk Community Foundation. To celebrate this milestone, we have put together a film featuring individuals who played a key part in setting up the Foundation, fundholders, supporters and representatives from charities and voluntary organisations who have received funding over the years.
We wish to thank everyone involved with the Foundation for all their incredible support over the last two decades and we look forward to many more years of grant giving in Suffolk. π

Yesterday, over 250 donors, supporters, partners, charities and voluntary organisations gathered at @theapexvenue, Bury St Edmunds for Suffolk Community Foundation`s Annual Review and High Sheriff`s Awards. What an inspirational afternoon it was, THANK YOU to everyone who came! π
Mark Murphy was our fabulous compere, and we enjoyed fantastic music from an extremely talented group of young people thanks to the @suffolkphilharmonicorchestra. Thank you to Gavin Stone from @4youngpeople who gave an excellent key note speech on challenges facing teenagers and young adults today in Suffolk. We also heard from our Chair, George Vestey and our CEO, Hannah Bloom.
The High Sheriff`s Awards celebrated four exceptional charities working in the county. We would like to congratulate @bsewomensaid, @thenestfarms, @headwaysuffolk and Ipswich Outreach on their deserving wins.
