Our work is set against the current backdrop of rising levels of need in Suffolk, with an estimated 75,000 now living in poverty.
Partnering with the VCFSE sector demonstrates that the will in Suffolk to provide support remains undiminished.

Yesterday, over 250 donors, supporters, partners, charities and voluntary organisations gathered at @theapexvenue, Bury St Edmunds for Suffolk Community Foundation`s Annual Review and High Sheriff`s Awards. What an inspirational afternoon it was, THANK YOU to everyone who came! 💜
Mark Murphy was our fabulous compere, and we enjoyed fantastic music from an extremely talented group of young people thanks to the @suffolkphilharmonicorchestra. Thank you to Gavin Stone from @4youngpeople who gave an excellent key note speech on challenges facing teenagers and young adults today in Suffolk. We also heard from our Chair, George Vestey and our CEO, Hannah Bloom.
The High Sheriff`s Awards celebrated four exceptional charities working in the county. We would like to congratulate @bsewomensaid, @thenestfarms, @headwaysuffolk and Ipswich Outreach on their deserving wins.

Saxmundham Music and Arts CIC has been awarded £105,404 from the Sizewell C Community Fund to help stage @saxmusicfest, a free community music festival, for the next three years.
Terry Barrow, Director, said: “We are delighted to receive this grant, which is very much welcome. It will play a crucial role in developing the financial sustainability of the Saxmundham Community Fest. This support will allow us to continue activities that benefit the residents of Saxmundham and the surrounding towns and villages. Keeping this festival thriving and free is vital in bringing people together and celebrating the spirit of our community.”
The Sizewell C Community Fund will provide up to £23m to local charities, community groups and organisations which are delivering projects that benefit local communities in East Suffolk.

The Fonnereau Road Health Foundation Fund supports organisations which are improving physical and/or mental health and wellbeing of people in Suffolk.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for equipment related to improving physical and/or mental health and wellbeing, and expenditure which is not part of the organisation`s normal overheads.
